Commencing January 14, 2013, electronically filed documents subject to the mandatory electronic filing requirements in civil limited, unlimited, and complex actions can be filed until midnight on the day that the filing is due and will be considered timely pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 1010.6 subdivision (d)(1)(D).

Please note there are a few exceptions to this new rule. The following items may still be submitted to the court in paper form:
- Civil Harassment documents
- Documents submitted with an Electronic filing exemption order
- Small Claims
- Family law documents
- Mental Health filings may be submitted in paper form, or electronically

If you do not wish to submit your documents through our portal, you may send them in to us on your daily route, or via Customer Service email and Velocity Legal will process your E-filing for an additional convenience fee listed below*. Be sure to attach a Velocity Legal work order directing us to E-File the assignment for you.

Superior Court of California, Orange County – Santa Ana, Laguna Hills, Fullerton, Orange and Westminster
Deadlines (Pacific Time) 4:30 PM to have Velocity Legal eFile, 11:59 pm if the client does eFiling.
Fees Advanced (Convenience Fee)**
Superior Court of California, Riverside County – Riverside, Moreno Valley, Hemet, Temecula, Murrieta, Banning, Palm Springs and Indio
Deadlines (Pacific Time) 4:00 PM to have Velocity Legal eFile, 11:59 pm if the client does eFiling.
The document is “filed” at the date and time it is received by the court and the confirmation of receipt is created. Any electronically filed document received by the Court on or after midnight will be file stamped on the next court day. If you do not wish to submit your documents through our portal, you may send them in to us on your daily route, or via Customer Service email and Velocity Legal Service will process your E-Filing for an additional convenience fee, plus court filing fees as follows:

Fees for Velocity Legal Service may vary by location, service level and/or the amount of time spent completing service.* Prices listed are a minimum price and should be used as an estimate. **When requested by customers, Velocity Legal Service will submit court filing fees required by court rule or statute. Customers can pay via ACH (eCheck) or Open Credit (certain terms apply) to avoid a convenience fee being charged on fees processed and remitted by Velocity Legal Service in accordance with applicable law. This fee only applies when filing fees are required by the Court and the fee will be reflected on the invoice.
